It is not life that is "unfair"
Trust me, people always blame "life" for their own misfortune. Well, not really "misfortune", but the results of their own doings. Well, it can't be helped right? All of us has the same experiences, I mean not really the same experiences but admit it, once upon a time, you blame life for whatever bad things had happen.
Well, for me it is not life that is to blame. Let's take a student who studies hard for an example and imagine that the student is you . Well, all students study hard anyway, or at least they do their work as a student just to pass, so I could say, no student is a total slacker, nobody graduates without doing any effort, even students who keep on parasitising their other classmates actually made an "effort" to copy and cheat, well I guess, cheating also needs some courage and effort, you sacrifice a lot just to cheat, it is either you get a higher grade or the teacher/professor catches you and you luckly get 5 which is a beautiful number for a failing grade. It's hard to save your self from this number you know. Even if you did that in the first grading period, trust me prof's could either forgive you or even with your greatest efforts, fail you since, many people never forget. That's how bad your doing is, and who's to blame? You and whoever you copied from. (It's not "life", I mean it's part of life and being alive but it is not "life's" fault that you were caught, or it must be "destiny's" fault (just kidding)) If it's a friend it is his/her fault for letting you copy knowing the risk, if you copied from an acquaintance which is not really your friend and he/she's not aware she/he's also responsible,he/she should have covered his/her answers much better, it could be his/her fault since you were tempted to copy but the greatest blame is on you since you did copy even if you know the risk.
Now, now, let's continue to the example I mentioned on the second sentence of the second paragraph. You studied hard for the exam/quiz (whichever) and you failed. How would you feel? A normal person would feel bitter of course, I think that is to be expected. Since you really did a lot of effort reviewing all day and night and for the past nights, you dare study that subject even if you had another matters to worry for the next day and this is a life of a typical college student. (Personally, I don't really know the feeling of staying up late and waking up early in the morning just to study, this is not to brag since some people might think I'm bragging here, but it's just not the time my brain is actively working and I don't find it "smart" studying when my brain is not really cooperating so I study only when my brain is ready for it. So a little advice to some people who still hadn't realize how their own brain activity time works. Please figure it out, it would make your lives easier I tell you.) So what I'm stating here is what I've earned from my acquaintances or even my friends' experiences in studying even during "late" hours, but my example is not really related to them this is totally made up. So to continue, you took the quiz, you were very confident at first since you reviewed really well and you were so sure of your self but at the same time you're nervous because you know how your professor does his/her quizzes, everything's just so unpredictable. You were answering the questions and your hands are sweating you know some of the answers and some of the questions are also new for you. You need time to think but the time is running out even if you answered the easy question first, you're feeling pressured and then ta-da! times up. After, the teacher said that the time's up you realized you missed a lot more numbers than expected. You were not so sure if all your "sure" answers were really correct. You are so worried of the results and you're already sure that you're going to fail the exam and then after a while, you already received your checked papers and yes, you failed. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? Especially, if it's a passing or failing type of situation, tell me, how would you feel? Some people would just think "well, that's how life is, you fail, and then you repeat, until you pass" but others might think "What would my parents' think of me, how could I tell them I might fail to pass the subject" and others might also think "If only the teacher made an easier examination" well, this is only to name some but there are different thoughts inside one's head but the most, painful word to hear is "WHAT IF", "what if, I study even harder", "What if I cheated", and a lot more "what if's" well, it is painful, since it's already done, and it can't be helped. By saying "what if" the person is like telling himself/herself that he/she is not good enough. In a worse case scenario, the person might think he/she's not right for the field that he/she's taking. It is sad to see a person wondering if he/she really is right for the course he/she's taking especially if it is his/her dream to become one and here she/he is, thinking if she/he's never good enough for his/her dreams. Now, tell me who's to blame? You should be able to answer this for yourself by now.
I believe in talents, I believe that we always have something that we're good at but having "dreams" is something else I also believe God made us having the ability to catch our dreams. We all have the power to attain what we desire, we just need some extra effort, yes. MORE EFFORT, dreams can never be caught in a blink of an eye, even a mosquito that flies fast is hard to kill.
In the end life is not unfair, it gives us notable experiences that would make us the most promising people of the future, it makes us smart and it makes our failures our reason to continue with whatever we aim for. We all just need someone to guide us, or if you're fine by your self, you just need a positive output in life. Remember, that we have our own worlds and it is "you" who matters most in your own world. Don't ever blame life. Thank "life" for all your experiences, and don't forget to thank God for His guidance, without Him you wouldn't make this far.
